1st Grizzly of 2020

Any other year by this time Don and I should have been making our 2nd trip to Yellowstone.  This year?  The Park is Closed.  But we'd heard about a Grizzly way up north of Jackson - not in Grand Teton Park (which is also Closed) so there was a chance we might get some photos of her.

So on Sunday, April 26 we loaded up the pickup and headed out to try our luck.  And we found her!!  In the pouring rain - but who cared?!?!

We also found some other wildlife

A 3-legged Fox!!

We saw about a dozen Moose - this one was the closest.

LOTS of Mule Deer.  Saw alot thru Pine Creek Pass and this one along the Gros Ventre River.

And another Moose that crossed the highway in front of us.

Still some Big Horn Sheep on the back side of the Elk Refuge.

And there is still ALOT of snow up in the mountains!!

Here's the top of Teton Pass

And this is at Togwotee Mountain Lodge

Thanks for looking!!
