The Tetons - August 2, 2016

Don had to deliver a car to Wilson, Wyoming today so that meant a trip to the Tetons for us.  I wasn't sure what the views would be like - they have fires and smoke over that way.  But we made the best of it!

Just inside the entrance to the Park there's an Osprey nest and we stopped for the one sitting there.

We stopped at one of our favorite spots for photos - this is just past the Taggart Lake Trailhead (which was Packed with cars - they were even parking out on the sides of the road!!).

Then we stopped at Schwabachers Landing - the views are great here too and this is where we saw the Beavers last year.  Today there were only a few ducks swimming around.

But I did spot a Great Blue Heron.

And one of my favorites - a Chipmunk!!

Besides 2 Mule Deer bucks in velvet which I didn't get shots of and some Bison far from the road - that was it for wildlife today.
